This isn’t about a photo session, or even the pictures, it’s about You. Forget about posing and feeling stiff in front of the camera. Imagine going on a walk with an old friend, who just happens to have a camera with them. My process is free and candid, and my only goal is to capture your true self.
My approach

Fill out the form
Once you have decided you want to capture those moments, complete the contact form, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Meet up
So everyone feels comfortable , we’ll have a quick chat to plot and plan everything out.
03.
Picture time
The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other.
In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.
04.
Delivering photos
You will get a timeline based on the project and you will receive your edited pictures, to relive those special moments.
FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
I don't bite!
This is about you and your memories. Whatever the project, I will always do my best to create a safe environment to capture the moments you are looking for and even a few that you didn't know you wanted.
I will never ask you to do something that you don't feel comfortable doing. This is why we will always meet before the shoot to chat and talk through what the session will look like.
Although getting out of your comfort zone is where the most memorable moments live!
What should I wear?
My golden rule is that if you are not comfortable it is NOT worth it!
Wear something that you feel cute in and would be seen wearing, even if you weren't having photos taken. Same goes with hair and makeup, if you don’t normally wear a lot of makeup and it will make you uncomfortable, then I say, “Go All Natural, Baby!”
Being uncomfortable will show in your pictures. If it doesn’t make you feel like yourself… Don’t do it!
How many pictures will I receive?
This will depend on which package you are after.
Many of the options will have a minimum amount of photos that I will deliver and there will usually be the option for purchase extras.
Are you available outside of Invercargill?
Yes, at cost.
I am happy to travel for most projects however there are travel costs for anywhere over 30kms outside of Invercargill.
What kind of Photography do you do?
I like to think I'll give almost anything a go.
I have worked with families at different events and for mini sessions, weddings, vow renewals, concerts, parties, boudoir and sports events.
If you're not sure, just ask!
How long will it take to get my photos?
This depends on the project.
Some mini shoots will be able to access their photos over the following few days, other, larger projects could be a few weeks.
This will be a discussion we will have prior to the photoshoot.
